Service Manager Assistant & Rental Coordinator
Job Function: Employees are required to complete their work in a safe, professional, and timely manner. Employees must conduct themselves in a manner that promotes a positive image of the company.
Essential Duties: ( Service Assistant)
- Work with the Service Manager to coordinate the operations of the Service Department.
- Prepare the Work Orders for incoming service work.
- Identify incoming service work that is covered by warranty.
- File Warranty Claims
- Manage Warranty Parts (subject to recall)
- Coordinate the delivery of parts ordered for the service department with the Parts Department.
- Answer Customer Inquiries on Work Status
- Maintain Service Area and other duties as required by the Service Manager.
Rental Coordinator
- Take orders for Equipment Rental and complete all documentation.
- Log Rental Appointments
- Check returned Rental Equipment for Damage or Repairs.
- Schedule Repairs of Rental Equipment with Service Department.
- Prepare Rental Charges.
- Coordinate the pickup and delivery of rental equipment.
Qualifications
- Computer Skills. Familiar with Windows XP, MSWord, Excel, etc
- Ability to locate, read, and interpret information from equipment manufacturers.
- Ability to read and understand schematics, and technical information
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in oral or written form.
- Ability to speak effectively, and communicate with customers.
- Knowledge of Outdoor Power Equipment, and Skid Loader Operation helpful
- Valid drivers license, and good driving record required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Reports To: Service Manager
Full time Employment: Hourly Wage, Full Benefit Package
